The reasons........

Briefly, here are the reasons why I want to do this adventure. It might sound a bit idiot, but when I was still very young, there as been an animated series called : 'Les mystérieuse citées d'or' (The Mysterious Cities of Gold). It all started in these years. This animated series nourished something in me. I did not know it but it would become a dream that would stick to me until now. Since that time I have had an attraction towards the culture and people of the south American continent. Although that series did not actually talk about the actual culture of the continent but really of the times when Spanish people invaded the continent in search of gold and wealth. In fact they destroyed people and cultures of that time that was really rich. These ancient people (Incas, Mayas, Aztec, etc.), have disappeared since that time but they left behind many remains and relics that proves the greatness of the people. My curiosity was touched and since I have had this desire that lives alongside with me. And no, I do not plan on going there to be looking for the cities of gold.

Now for me, it does not mean to visit solely the archaeological sites of those times, but everything that touches the spirit of the continent. The goal of my trip is not to visit the big urban centers. Quite the opposite, I need to see the smaller villages where people stayed authentic to their way of life. I am curious and want to live and see with these people, I also want to explore the landscapes, the desert, mountains and the jungle.

So, all in all, me and Latin America are like a magnets that attracts another one. These two magnets attracts themselves since my childhood, and they will finally be together. I will then be able to decide what to do with the rest of my life, but this personal experience must be lived. The big question always is : What if I would die tomorrow, what would be my biggest regret? The answer is clear to me. Of not having lived my dreams, to not have followed my instinct, of not having seen, touched, tasted, heard and smelled Latin America.

If you follow the Wikipedia link above you will be able to read the following : Three new seasons of 26 episodes each are confirmed and in progress. The sequels will see the series moving to Asia. The design for the characters will be the same with some 3D graphic update. The production will began late 2009 with the first season due to air in 2011. On the french television Chanel TF1's website it is still not confirming any new episodes for this year. To follow....
