Today, I have made the official announcement to all. Family members and friends, but also to my employer and work partners. My departure is now on a countdown to July 2012. It as already been a few months since I started this blog, but I had not told everyone about my plans. It was a question of waiting to be a 100% sure of my departure and all the possibilities of my project. In a way I am free of the weight that was on my shoulders of keeping all this info to myself. I will now be able to speak openly of all this. I had kept all this info private until now because I did not want to create false wishes and I was also a bit scared to disappoint many people.
But such a dream can only be lived once in a lifetime and we have to make our dreams come true when opportunity knocks. It will not be easy for me to leave everything behind when I leave, but I also believe that I will soon forget about all this stress once I'm on the road. The year to come will surely seem long to me, but hopefully it will go by as fast as the last ones did and I will have Latin America at my reach.
