I was not able to do the whole trail I initially went to do though. I had planned an 11 km hike, I actually only did 3 because it was pretty exhausting with all the snow, I had snow up to my knees in some places.
By luck for me there were markers on the trees, because in some places there was enough snow covering the trails for me to lose sight of the path completely. I had to rely on these quite a few times.
After doing the first trail, I changed spot in the park. I got to another trail where there was a lot less snow, in fact almost none. In this other trail I did another 3 km both ways that led me to an old fire guard watching tower. The trail was much nicer to do.

From the top of the tower the view was quite impressive, I could see many km around. A hawk even flew close to me, not easy the take a picture of it in flight. And the moon in broad daylight was just awesome.
And the best of all day, I made a stop at the beach for my first picnic of the season. The place was just so calm. The only noises that I heard in a whole hour spent there were the ones of the birds. I also briefly saw an small otter. Springtime is well on it's way, I'm happy summer is just around the corner.
