The Adventure Brew Hostel

The Adventure Brew Hostel in La Paz was a great place to stay. They have a very nice staff and most of them do speak english as well. A friendly atmosphere and a good place to have fun or relax, where there is a wide choice of room to choose from with over 140 beds available. The shared bathrooms have all been renovated and are always clean, with hot showers all day long. The rooms are quite big and the beds are comfortable as well. Every bed comes with a super large locker where you can definitely fit any size of backpacks, unless you are exaggerating on how much thing you carry around (you will need a padlock).

You will be able to enjoy the ''All you can eat'' pancake breakfast with coffee or tea that is included in the price of the dorms. They have just built a rooftop terrace where you can enjoy the sun in the daytime or have a drink at night, there is an impressive view on the town from up there. There is also a large bar at the ground level where music can be enjoyed in the evening and the common area has a pool and ping-pong table for your use. Just above the bar is a large TV room where you can watch cable TV or DVD's if you choose.

Every night you will be given a free Saya beer on tap. Saya is a microbrewery associated to The Adventure Brew Hostel, is that not an enjoyable plus. Free beer every night, gotta love that. You can also buy bottles and many kinds of drinks also.

You can also ask to see the menu, for you can get food directly from the hostel kitchen if you do not feel like going out into town. 

   

The shared washrooms

There are organized activities every night of the week like pool and ping-pong tournaments, special music nights and even a quiz night where you can win a free beer if you have the most good answer (we did :). Oh and they have a book exchange program, laundry service, computers available but also a very good Wi-Fi and an on site tour agency if you're looking for daily activities around La Paz. Honestly all you need under one rooftop.
