In the afternoon we wanted to go to the mirador but we must have taken the wrong road and end up at the entrance of the zoo, so we decide to go in and the price was quite low, so why not. A little later we go to the market to get some food for supper that will also be in a way goodbye supper for the third friend that with us because she is leaving to go her way in two days. We leave the hostel at 8h30 to go to the bus terminal and take the bus to go to Valparaiso for 4000 Pesos (8.38$ Can.). We leave Santiago at 9h30 and get to Valparaiso at 11h30. We go to the hostal Jacaranda (7000 Pesos = 14.45$ Can.). We leave again as soon as we get our stuff in the room to go walk in town. We will only be here 2 days so might as well make the most of it. e explore the city center and the port and get to the main plaza for 3pm, to go on a guided tour with ''Tours for Tips'', which is a free service and you only need to give a tip to the guide if you liked is tour and figure he's done a good job. The tour lasts for a good 2h30 and I must say it was absolutely  nice, interesting and informative. The guide brought us in different parts of town and gives us a historical and actual overview of the city. When we finish the tour it's close to 6pm and we decide to go on a terrace recommended by the guide for a small glass of wine. Back to the hotel for a while and we head out for supper at 9pm.

We get up in the morning under a grey and showery sky, so we stay at the hostal for the morning other that going for breakfast. In the afternoon we decide to go for a walk even if it still rains a bit. We go and visit the open air museum of painted murals, it's really not much from what we were told we expected more, but it's still nice just to walk in these small streets. After we go for a walk in the cemetery that is bigger than I thought. Go back at the hostal for a while. In the end of the afternoon we go out for a coffee to kill time a bit and around 8pm we get to the terminal. Our bus for Pucon is leaving at 9pm for 15000 Pesos each (31.41$ Can.). It should take around 10 to 12 hours to get there in all.
